ARANCINI

​

Arancini are a classic Italian street food dish.

​

The origin of arancini dates back to between the 9th and 11th centuries in Sicily under Arab domination.

​

They consist of rice balls filled with various condiments, breaded and fried.

The breading makes it very crunchy while keeping it soft and juicy inside.

FRIED CALZONE

​

Fried calzone is another typical Italian street food. 

​

Its origin is in Puglia, in southern Italy, and dates back to around 1500.

​

It is a classic calzone filled with various ingredients but fried in boiling oil instead of baked in the oven.

Cooking it in oil makes it very tasty and crunchy
